Audree Grubesic is an industry leader in the offsite construction arena as well as founder of OffsiteDirt.com. She started in luxury custom home building in Colorado and learned how to work with clients, answer questions about the build process and listen to their needs. This experience led her to build my company called, Modular Sure Site.
Modular Sure Site offers site work services for individuals that wanted to build a custom home using modular construction. The team completed five projects in Colorado using this build solution. They quickly realized how much time was spent onsite creating faster build times. The projects went from 12 months to 8 months in one year's time. At the time of COVID, they shifted the business to consulting.
This is when Audree started working with builders and developers to build their pre-construction teams, along with finding a modular factory to complete the project. At this same time, she founded OffsiteDirt.com. Offsite Dirt is a media and event company that showcases all the current news, techniques, technology, influencers, and conversations in offsite construction. This form of construction encompasses volumetric, modular, prefab, panelization, and single and/or multi-trade assemblies.
Offsite Dirt has a two-pronged mission: to inform the construction industry and the general public on the intricacies of what's currently happening in the fast-growing offsite construction field and to provide a meeting place for offsite construction professionals where information, opinions, and resources can be freely exchanged.
While OSD will frequently highlight specific players in this industry, Offsite Dirt encourages the discussion and exploration of all offsite construction companies, products, and techniques in general. OSD is committed to finding the best way forward for our industry, and the world, as a whole. The community has been growing ever since, and now OSD is expanding with green technologies, passive houses, and low-carbon building solutions. Mostly motivated by building teams of people, Audree aligns her brands through integrity, wisdom, and respect. She is a resource for others in assisting with community developments and building projects.
