K & K Electric Mission to Increase Women in the Workforce & Use 3D Tech to Advance MEP Execution

Audree Grubesic, host of Offsite Dirt meets Jared Alvarado, CEO of K&K Electric that specializes in commercial Electrical Retail, New Constructions, Renovations, Apartments, Condos, Schools as well as Fire Alarm and CCTV Systems.

Jared explains how they support women in their company with training to help expand the female workforce. They are planning on hiring a female in their new office management space and sales management positions as well.

Jared explained his family’s history in certified welders and how they brought the other family’s talents into his business. They integrate welding services to their company offerings and package these services with their other traditional electric services.

Panel systems are great modular solutions that are also used in Jared’s business. They use trade skills people and teach them how to design in 3D design software to create modular systems so that the electrical services can be done off site. They finish the MEPS on site with a goal to have this done in less than 24 hours.

They use the 3D softwares because the customer can see their project alive before it is actually started. It becomes not only a sales tool but also helps develop better projects in whole. It helps have all the MEP people work in better harmony to get the job done. This technology helps all trades meet deadlines and execute the projects.

“We are a company full of goals, and with a futuristic vision . Focused on sustainability and creating a satisfied customer base that references our high level of customer service , quality of our work and of course the consistency and timeliness with which we carry out our work.” said, Jared Alvarado
