Healthy vs. Unhealthy Homes

On this edition of High Performance Build on Offsite Dirt, Mark Wille, Joe Konopacki, and Shaun St-Amour share some stories of unhealthy homes while discussing why a healthy home is something that everyone should strive for. They share the benefits of building a healthy home.

They point out that it promotes the well-being of the occupants by providing a safe and comfortable living environment, which is crucial for physical and mental health. A healthy home incorporates proper ventilation and air filtration systems, reducing indoor air pollution and minimizing respiratory issues. Using eco-friendly and non-toxic materials during construction enhances indoor air quality and reduces harmful chemical exposure. Lastly, a healthy home encourages sustainable practices, contributing to the overall health of the planet and ensuring a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come. They all love going to visit their grandparents' home, but they just don't like the smell of their basements.
